Cette hosieryCette hosiery is a Belgian company which is currently considered the largest hosiery and shape-wear manufacturer in the country. The origins of the company reach back quite a bit: it was apparently established in 1958, in a small village about 30 km (approx. 18 miles) from Brussels. The area where the company was situated was one where the textile industry had dug in its heels, so it made an environment which obviously facilitated such activity.
The Cette brand isn’t as old though. The brand itself was created in 1988 and after attaining world-wide recognition, it has been registered world over. Although it is definitely one of top suppliers of the Belgian hosiery market, 80% of the company’s production goes to export. The bulk of the production is absorbed by the EU, but the company sends pantyhose and hosiery to other parts of the world too. Russia and Japan are among the largest Cette hosiery consumers. All-in-all, there are 40 countries where Cette products can be purchased.
The mission statement of the company is obviously to create the best pantyhose and nylons ever made and available anywhere. Cette products do indeed reflect the high production standards well, and they offer a more than decent price to quality ratio too.
Cette pantyhose are sold at various retailers, department stores and importers. You won’t find them in grocery stores or discount outlets though. Buying Cette products online is always an option however.
The company is not only a producer of hosiery, it is a proficient distributor as well and it offers excellent customer service. Keeping with the global trend of relocating actual production facilities into financially more viable areas, the company has kept its dyeing and quality control facilities as well as its packaging plant in Belgium.
Cette are currently capable of making 60,000 hosiery pieces a day.
